Includes complimentary breakfast featuring Vermont-made produce and fruit grown on property (in season). Ten-minute drive to free lake access. King-size bed in spacious bedroom. Comfortable sitting area with gorgeous mountain views. Kitchenette with sink, microwave, mini-fridge and kitchen table. Full bath includes separate shower and tub. Radiant-heat floors. Room to set up cots or air mattresses for children upon request. Patio, gardens, yard and meadows. We love to get to know our guests if you wish. However, we absolutely respect your privacy. Set in the Champlain Valley the property is located on a secluded country road with expansive mountain views. Middlebury and Vergennes restaurants, shops, and art galleries are a short drive away. It's a great area for skiing, hiking, and cycling, as well as water activities on Lake Champlain. A car is necessary, unless you are coming by bicycle! We offer a wholesome Continental breakfast, including many organic and locally-sourced items such as Vermont Coffee Company coffee, an assortment of loose and bagged teas, steel-cut oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit (on property when in season), The Manghis bread, Monument Farm Dairy and Irish Hill Maple Products. Please let us know prior to your stay if you have any particular requests so we may be sure to have them on hand. There are also several excellent full-breakfast choices in Vergennes and Middlebury.

Two Private Bedrooms with Adjoining Private Bath

Two bedrooms & one private bath in our beautiful country home on 23 acres. Each room has a queen platform bed w/ memory foam mattress. Lovely walking trails along Baldwin Creek. 3 miles to Bristol Village. Easy commute to Sugarbush Ski Resort or summer hiking, biking, kayaking. Breakfast included. We kindly request limited use of common spaces in the house, such as the living room, TV room, and kitchen. If your party would prefer a full house option, try our other listing, Holiday Retreat.

Charming king room at The Tillerman

We invite you to spend a little time enjoying the simple things in life. The Tillerman is restored and re-imagined from its 1785 bones. We embrace the quirks, character and eccentricities of this old beautiful building and we hope you do, too. Johnnycake Flats is a family owned B&B, an 1800's farmhouse and former stagecoach stop. Three inviting guest rooms, each with private baths and great views. All stays include yummy, homemade breakfasts, using organic/ local ingredients. XC skiing and snow shoeing can be accessed in our adjoining field with your own equipment. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are a 1/2 hour drive via the Roxbury Gap (snow tires and winter driving skills a must) or a 55 min drive via I-89, exit 9.

Middlebury Private Suite, walk to campus.

A pleasant walk to Middlebury town and college from this handsome 1827 Federal home which is licensed with the state. The suite has two bedrooms with one private bathroom and it’s own entrance. Each room has a queen bed with a comfortable mattress fitted with sun dried cotton sheets. The suite has a small refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and French press. If the reservation is for 2 persons but both bedrooms are required, there is an additional $80 per night charge.

Accessed by a private spiral stairway and featuring a Scottish theme that reflects Peter's homeland. It has a queen-size bed, a comfortable couch for sitting and a gas fired "wood stove". Old barn-board walls and exposed hand hewn rafters give the room the feeling of a quaint highland cottage, and the bagpipes on the wall leave no doubt of the room's credentials! Multi-room unit with large eat-in kitchen; bedroom with queen & full beds; kid-friendly; TV, big grounds, fire pit, great hiking, biking from your door, wine, the best restaurant in VT, best ferry on Lake Champlain. Two nights required certain busy weekends. A dog-friendly unit. Does experience a little road noise. A very good breakfast option is available for a fee.
