Soak in a hot spring under the stars
The night begins at the trail head, next to the hoover dam. We ready ourselves with our headlamps, load our packs, and begin our decent into the canyon. The hike is 6 miles long, with a variety of challenging, yet enjoyable obstacles that all ages can attempt. Guests will have to ascend/descend ropes, scale rocks, and marvel at the honed canyon walls. But the best part, are the hot springs. About 3/4 of the way down there our some beautiful springs the guests can hop in as a reward for the long hike in. If guests do not desire to get in these pools we will push onward towards the end of our hike, the Colorado river. It is as majestic as it is crucial to the existence of our fair city. From power, and our main water source this river has literally shaped the surrounding lands making even a barren desert, rich with life. After a much needed rest we will begin the ascent back up the canyon. This hike usually takes 3.5 - 5 hours based off the pace of the hikers. All guests should have proper footwear, with decent grip, also waterproof is recommended. Other things to note This hike is very manageable by most hikers, but there are some physical obstacles that will demand some exertion.

You will enjoy a relaxing controlled paddling float along the calm lazy river. Once the trip has concluded a rideshare will be provided to return guests to their vehicles. Other things to note This experience has a modular aspect. Once you book the date we will be in close contact to discuss any special needs or requests you may have. If you have concerns regarding your skill level in relation to other guests in attendance or wish to alter the duration of the experience please consider the "Private Group" booking option to enjoy a more private personalized experience (For a few extra bucks you dont have to worry about the opinions of strangers!)

Learn about the flora, fauna, and archaeology of the desert
Join your personal naturalist in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve to learn about the flora, fauna, and archaeology of the magnificent Sonoran Desert - the most biodiverse desert on Earth! From our meeting place at the Piestewa Peak Trails trailhead, we will embark on a moderate 1.5-mile hiking loop over gently undulating desert terrain. Along the hike, you will receive an unparalleled immersion into the Sonoran Desert, including: - Introduction to a minimum of eight (8) native Sonoran Desert plants: their unique adaptations to a hot desert climate; relationships with wildlife; and traditional uses by Indigenous peoples, past and present. - Discussions on the ecology of Sonoran Desert wildlife, especially wildlife we may observe on our hike. - A brief survey of the geological history of the Phoenix Mountains. - Commentary on over 12,000 years of human history in the Phoenix Valley, with an emphasis on the impressive Hohokam civilization. - Address - to the best of my ability - any relevant questions you may have about the Sonoran Desert. My intention is to have you returning to the trailhead enriched with greater knowledge of - and appreciation for - the Sonoran Desert, its hardy plants, resilient wildlife, and rich history. This experience is for educational purposes only - we will not be sampling or collecting plants.

We do an ice breakers at the beginning of the class so that everyone is comfortable with eachother, then we move in 3 steps to create the perfect Shea butter. K-POP DANCE WORKSHOP in Arizona
After the first 5 minutes of warm-up/Isolation, our Kpop dance instructors will teach you today's choreography (mainly the chorus part) step by step and we all will dance with music. Optional filming of your dance covers at the end is included and you can watch them on the next day posted on our Facebook group, “Arizona Kpop Dance Workshop” and Instagram, “@akdc_2020”. The workshop is held every Tuesday and Thursday and we are dancing different songs/artists every two weeks (4 classes total per song. Usually the first week is the choreography learning and the second week includes the formation.) Please keep in mind that Kpop dance isn’t easy and 1 hour workshop might not be enough time to master today’s choreography for some people. After 4 classes in 2 weeks, we usually make a tutorial video and post on YouTube as well as on TikTok (@rinaohkuma @akdc_2020). Please feel free to use them to master the dance if you would like to! You can also join our Facebook group, “Arizona Kpop Dance Workshop” to participate or relearn the dance moves for free as we always go on the live stream during the class. For Private workshop, please send me a message! e.g.) birthdays, family events, bachelorette parties, dance beginners, etc We have learned and danced more than 50 Kpop songs this past 2 years such as from BLACKPINK, EXO, BTS and more!
