This beautiful home dates back to the 1820s and has been updated to offer a charming experience. Wake up under the wood beam vaulted ceilings before heading outside to the beautiful patio to fire up a delicious BBQ. We are next to train tracks but we do provide a sound machine. When staying with us, You have at your fingertips a restaurant, coffee house, European goods shop, in season produce, our grass fed beef, enjoyable walks around the country, and plenty of other things to keep you busy, or relaxed! There is a fire pit and grill available for your convenience! We LOVE visiting, but also understand, your here on holiday and may want some quite time. Just let us know and we can even tour you around the farm! The farm produces fresh, organic foods and grass-fed beef which feature in the on-site restaurant and European-styled coffee house and shop. Walk through the surrounding nature or head to Albuquerque only 30 minutes away. We live near the train & have weddings on farm. (Please understand before booking, everything is in close proximity on the farm, during weekends in warmer months, it is highly likely there could be a wedding held onsite, we do have a 11:00pm noise curfew for these events). Cars are likely your best option for travel, unless you would prefer a day outing on the train!

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

1950’s Heritage House Europa Food. farm. festival

The heritage home is original to our family, post WW2, built by our grandfather. The farm on which is sits was also cultivated by his hands. Today houses the renovated heritage home, two other Airbnb’s, our European restaurant and market and of course, our wonderful farm animals! Please note, we do hire an organic pest management company to spray the house, but it doesn’t get them all, you still may see a few normal farm insects.
