Sailing Trip on a Catamaran in Marseille Bay
THIS IS A DISCONNECTED EXPERIENCE. Smartphones are turned off at boarding. You will embark on a 12-meter catamaran with François, a pro skipper, and quickly go underway, sails only, no engines, to experience the poetry of gliding on the water in silence. Help welcome ! Only if you wish, you can participate in boat manoeuvres and learn how a sailboat works and is safe. After a 1.5-hour, the boat will anchor in a calanque in the Frioul archipelago or the Côte Bleue, depending on the wind direction on that day. You will then be able share a drink, have a bath, paddleboard riding or just chill out. Note: It is a unique experience on a beautiful boat, in a warm atmosphere and an extraordinary landscape. Under the shade of the sails, in silence, your ability to marvel at the beauty of the sea will make a difference. François will do his best to make this to happen and it usually works wonderfully ! The sea makes us happy, allows to meet ourselves and the others. We will be back at Port de l'Estaque.

Slow Food- Cook like a Provençal chef

Together, we will then prepare a four course meal (starter - main course - cheese - desert ) using seasonal and local ingredients. Some of them will come directly from our garden. During the class you will taste our Olive oil, homemade jams and of course local wines paired with the menu. Lunch will be prepared in my personal kitchen and will be served on a terrasse shaded by oak trees overlooking our Olive trees. We only use local and seasonal produce so the recipes will change with the seasons. Alongside Provençal recipes we also teach fusion inspired cooking, creating dishes that are inspired by local produce and spices from around the world. We will finish the class and lunch around 3pm. The farmhouse is located 45 mins from Aix en Provence and 50mins from Avignon, 45 mins from Saint Rémy de Provence, 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Lourmarin.
Catamaran sail ride in the heart of Calanques National Park
Come and sail through the bay of Marseille and to the heart of Parc des Calanques ! Wind, sea state and traffic will dictate the pace and itinerary to reach a nice mooring . You will appreciate the breathtaking landscape, the comfort of the boat and the friendship spirit. We'll enjoy swimming and lunch, SUP, snorkeling and sometimes cliff jumping if you wish ! The afternoon will be devoted to chill out and/or some more sailing on the way back to port… Please bring a small amount of food and drink you'd like to share with the others. So will I. Don't forget sun protection (cream, glasses, cap, (windproof) hat, ...), swimwear and towels. You'll be able to rinse off with fresh water after getting out of the water… Please note : This is not a "tick that postcard" tour with specific places visited but a sailing trip under sail where slow pace, contemplation and awareness are privileged. It's a "let's go sailing as friends in Marseille would" proposition. Your disposition to be aware of the environment in the shade of the sails, in silence and to meet people on board, will also make the difference. We like to meet foreigners, talk or stay alone but we all love Med blue waters, sun, nature and fine food. Come ! We'd rather be sailing !

Calanque bleue by train swim
- Go to Saint Charles station because it is by train that we will reach the coves of the blue coast through tunnels and viaducts. - We reach the small port of Ensues la Redonne at the start of the customs path which we cover to reach the beach of Figuiére and its almost perfect cove. Swimming in blue waters. - We continue towards the double cove of Mejean and its micro village. - This is where the wild coast begins with its cliffs and superb marine reefs. We arrive at the cove of Everine facing the island of the same name. The place is ideal for mask and snorkelling, among the most beautiful seabed in the region. - Finally it is the Jonquier cove and its turquoise waters to arrive at the small port of Niolon clinging to the cliff, perfect place for a refreshment before taking our little train back to its improbable station. Other things to note It is better to know how to swim, take enough water! Otherwise the ride does not require special skills, the cumulative elevation positive / negative is around 350 meters more a long ride than a hike. Fans of organic green clay baths with sea salt will be delighted!

We will make a stop for lunch with the choice of sandwich to eat on the beach or typical restaurant in the port of Goudes (meal not included) Other things to note Plan sun cream, towel and swimsuit, a bottle of water.
Whaou !
