Hidden Bar Hopping With A Local
Join me for a night out in town !!! We will be going to my top favorite speakeasy bars (3 or 4 hidden bars) around Pasar Seni (close to Chinatown). Each has a different theme and ambiance. The KL Urban jungle has lots of hidden doors that lead to amazing sights, smells, and sounds. Plus, we'll go for a nice dinner around the area so you can enjoy the local food. On top of that, we will be walking from one location to another and that would also be a part of the experience where you can enjoy the night lights around Old KL City (Pasar Seni). I would like to share the experiences and excitement that these bars have given me when I'm out drinking with my friends. We'll discuss various topics, especially about Southeast Asia, Malaysia, and Kuala Lumpur, or where ever the conversation leads us. If you guys would like to continue the night, I would be more than happy to suggest clubs or bars. Note: Cocktails may cost from RM 30 to RM 50 per glass. Beers may cost from RM 13 to RM 20 per bottle/can. For men, shoes are required.
Dragonback Trek
The Dragonback Trek has been my signature trek for the last 11 years offering a superb once in a lifetime view. This is a fully guided trekking trip with a cheerful host. Group size are kept very small and personal for comfort and safety from 2- 6 pax maximum. A short 30 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur City Centre would bring you to a local Malaysian suburb. At the top of the ridge expect to get a panoramic view of pristine virgin jungle on one side, and KL city on the other. The whole trek will take around 2.5 – 3 hours (depending on fitness level) inclusive of rest stops and photo snapping sessions. We will pick you up bright and early in the morning from your Airbnb accommodation at 6.30am. Trips typically lasts from 6.30am to 11.30am local time. A fresh set of clothes (t-shirt, shorts and flip flops) would make the experience all the more comfortable as you would be super sweaty, yet satisfied after the trek. The dates blocked are for scheduling purposes. Do let us know among our 5 favorite trips (Backcountry Cycling, Banana Waterfall Trek, Cultural Riverside Cycling), alternative date and group size and we will try to assist. Message us via Airbnb.
Personal Guide for Introverts/Solo Travelers
Is it your first time in Malaysia? Are you an introvert who feels nervous about joining big tour groups or exploring the city on your own? Don't worry -- I've got you covered. I will be your local friend & private guide (you will not be sharing the tour with anyone else). I can also recommend local delicacies based on your dietary needs/restrictions. On top of that, if you have any question about solo traveling, I will be more than happy to share tips and stories. The tour typically takes around 3 - 4 hours to complete, depending on how fast we walk and how many stops we make. This tour is also ideal for those on a layover in KLIA, as it starts and ends in KL Sentral, which is easily accessible from the airport. Please note, however, that it takes 1 hour to travel between these two points. I can make minor adjustments based on your time, but please let me know before booking. Note: This is a walking tour. It will be done mostly by walking and taking public transports. I will bear the cost of the bus/train rides. In case of very heavy rain, the experience may get cancelled with a full refund or rescheduled (subject to my availability). Food is not included in the tour. Want to customize the itinerary? Sure! However, do note that if the destination you choose requires a taxi ride and/or entrance fee, it will be at your expense.

Authentic Malaysian Street Food Tour in Kampung Baru
Experience the Amazing World of Authentic Malaysian Food in Kampung Baru. A visit to the Kampung Baru neighborhood is a wonderful opportunity to step back in time to experience early 20th-century Kuala Lumpur. Kampung Baru is actually a traditional Malaysian residential area that was established more than 100 years ago. Many of the dwellings are wooden houses built on short stilts and though they are in the heart of the city, dwarfed by gleaming skyscrapers, there is very much a rural village feel to the place. We will visit the very special Food Street in Kampung Baru where will try Delicious Malaysian Delicacies, from sweet to savory and from drinks to desserts, and even taste the king of fruit Durian (Subject to seasonal availability) You'll be pleasantly surprised to see how much delicious food is available on the same street. Please bring a good appetite because we gonna go on a Street Food Tasting Marathon :) After finishing the food we will visit the beautiful Saloma Link Bridge and then complete the tour by taking stunning pictures of the astonishing Petronas Twin Towers.

Chef-Curated Kuala Lumpur Street Food Tour
With Malay, Indian and Chinese influences, it's no wonder that Malaysian food is a lip-smackingly complex beast. We'll meet at 5.30pm in Chow Kit and Kampung Baru - one of last old districts yet to be developed into glassy high rises. Away from the tourists at Jalan Alor, you'll find local tight-knit communities - known for their traditional wooden housing and delicious nightly street eats. We'll end at Petronas Towers by 9.30pm. Our professional team of foodie guides will weave a route that was carefully curated by our founding chef, with dishes picked for their varying tastes and culinary history. No other food tour in KL offers this value in food (14+ tastings!) and duration (4 hours). Firm favourites are fragrant bowls of laksa, hand stretched rotis with a trio of curries, nasi lemak with piquant sambal, herbal chicken rendang, mackerel freshly grilled with freshly ground curry paste, nasi kerabu with blue flower rice and soothing iced cendol, among much more. Whilst it's possible to attempt such a culinary marathon yourself, if you want the real deal, come join us on our moveable food feast! *Special Diets: suitable for lactose or gluten intolerances, but not for vegetarians as you'll have to skip a few dishes (OK for pescatarians).
