Our house is situated on a small hill near to the Cerknica Lake which disappears in the summer but offers an amazing insight into its Karst bed. This had been our family home for 14 years until 2013 when we moved to Germany and we love spending our summers there. For us, it is a perfect retreat from the busy life in a big city and we enjoy the calmness of the unspoiled nature around the house. Please treat it with respect! Community tax must be paid at the property : 1,25 eur/night/person.

Our house is located in a beautiful town Cerknica, only 1 km away from Cerknica lake. The location of the house is great for short walks or long hiking trails around good deal of the region's karst phenomena, including the intermittent Lake Cerknica, forests, meadows, wetlands, caves (including Križna Cave) and Rakov Škocjan gorge. New and fully equipped one apartment with kitchen and bathroom where you can find some peace and enjoy the nature. The apartment is in a family house, 2 generations, young family and grandparents.
