Join us on a leisurely walk of about a half a mile with plenty of resting stops in Little Havana where you will discover the traditions, history, music and flavors of Cuba in Miami. We'll enjoy the rhythm of salsa playing on the street, taste authentic Cuban cuisine, and share fascinating stories that only true locals know. We will cover the culture behind the food while we enjoy delicious foods. As opposed to staying at just one restaurant, we'll visit and support various small family-owned establishments and taste a wide variety of foods to understand the cultural traditions of Calle Ocho. From picadillo empanadas, guarapo, guava pastelitos, colada and churros to the best Cubano sandwich in town, we serve enough food that lunch afterwards is not needed. A refreshing rum mojito cocktail is also included in the ticket price. In between all of the delicious tastings, we'll visit a cigar factory, Domino Park and pay tribute to the Memorial Blvd., We'll also admire Cuban art and make a stop at El Callejon Del Gallo gallery. Upon entering Casa Habano, each guest will be greeted with a traditional Cuban coffee or "Cafe Cubano" to get a full sensory experience From there we begin a video on the seeding, germination, planting, curing, fermenting and sorting of tobacco leaves before shipped to factories. We continue by sharing the history of Commercial cigar rolling in Florida which began with small-scale operations by Cuban immigrants in the 1830s, and blossomed in to the "cigar Capital of the World", with Pioneers like Vicente martinez Ybor and Eduardo Manrara. Next we visit our pettit GALERA to experience each manufacturing stage: PRIMARY PROCESS - This is where you get to see firsthand the different types of tobacco and the aging process. Here you will see and learn how various tobaccos are sorted. DEVEINING - The removal of the center vein is a critical process of preparing the tobacco, and we will show you how it is done. TWISTING & ROLLING - Constructing a cigar is a 3 step process. See our Master Torcedores, twist, bind, press and roll our premium cigars. PACKING - Once cigars have been rolled they undergo further aging, before they're label and packaged for distribution. For safety, we recommend to wear closed shoes. During the tour, guests are invited to enjoy (1) complimentary cigar. Other things to note To enhance the experience, you are free to take pictures, videos and ask questions.

Join us as we explore Biscayne Bay and its diverse wildlife. Harnessing the power of the wind, we visit sandbars, swim, snorkel or explore mangroves and islets. @SaltyMiami is the only sailing experience in Miami that's 100% powered by the wind, that's right! no engines. We'll appreciate Florida’s unique ecosystem, all while having fun and learning. There is something in the bay for everyone, so we'll be watching for possible sightings of dolphins, manatees, starfish or amazing sunsets. We'll literally let the wind take us :) We'll spend about 3 hours on the water. We can sail out in the morning or later in the day to catch the sunset. We have some healthy snacks ready and water, but you can bring your own drinks and snacks too. Bring swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and water shoes, if possible. A set of dry clothes is recommended to change after our sailing session. After scheduling your experience I'll msg you to confirm. Weather can be unpredictable, so in exceptional cases, we may need to reschedule for a later/earlier time or day. I'll ensure we communicate this clearly and as soon as possible so everyone is on the same page. Please understand scheduling changes is to ensure you have the best possible experience. Enjoy a day by eating Cuban food, meeting local people, learning local history and chat with locals. We will experience a day in the life of a Cuban-American in a small group, enjoying meals in exclusively locally family owned and operated restaurants. Starting from the nontouristy area of Little Havana, we take a leisurely walk down Calle Ocho and participate in the daily life habits and rituals of the community. Part of the experience is the tasting drinks like Cuban coffee, Mojitos, Sugar cane juice. Also we try Guava Pastelitos, Croquetas, Cuban Sandwich, empanadas, seafood sampling etc. You will see Cuban cigar rollers making cigars and will be able to take some pictures. You will also witness historical landmarks on 8th Street like Maximo Gomez Domino Park, Cuban Memorial Park, Bay of Pigs Memorial, Tower Theater, and more. With the local guide, you will learn local stories and tales about the community development and rising into a staple creating diverse culture the Magic City is famous for. Along Calle Ocho there is lots of local artists and galleries that will be pointed out and explained as well as details about the authentic story about the World Famous Roosters. We will head out from my marina in Coconut Grove to explore the water off of Miami. We will see the Stiltsville houses off of Key Biscayne, lighthouses, marine life and end up at a sandbar or beach where you can relax, swim, have drinks and snacks.

You will also be given option to get in water at Haulover Sandbar or one of the many Islands close to the city. After a 5-10min boat ride into the bay, we will open up the parachute and call the first flyers (up to 3 at a time). You will get a smooth take off from the rear of the boat and enjoy a 5-10min scenic flight over Miami. Right before landing back on the boat, you will get the option of getting a refreshing dip into the water to cool yourself from the hot Miami sun. You will never see Miami like this! We will be meeting up at Lummus park in the middle of downtown Miami, having a brief meet and greet then, stand up paddle boarding or kayaking right through the middle of downtown Miami on the Miami River. We will be checking out all the lights and the sights from the water while paddling around taking some photos and ending with a couple drinks. ( I'll bring some beer and wine 100% complimentary for everyone.) Other things to note Please bring a camera if it is waterproof or has water housing.
