Welcome! Quiet Lake House by the Beach is just as it describes! The property shares a driveway with the cabin I also host. The Lake House is newly remodeled. The outside is still being worked on at this time. Please excuse any unsightly renovations as they are completed. The Lake House is located just a short walk to Beach, Pinky’s (seasonal, Opens May 1, 2022!), The Rusty Reel Bar (below Pinky’s) and The Marina. The beach offers a beautiful playground, pavilions and a frisbee golf course!

LAKE SHELBYVILLE GET AWAY The BLACKLOG CORNER COTTAGE is a quaint little cottage that gets its name from an old school that used to sit on this corner way back in the day when kids walked "up hill" both ways to school with no shoes on in the dead of winter...... so that's how the old story goes. It also sits on the old road that went from Shelbyville to Vandalia back in the "dirt road" days. Today the corner's roads are called Co. Road 1005 North and Illinois State highway 128.
