Sit out on the porch rocker or round the campfire in the tree-lined, fenced-in garden. Take a stroll down to the end of the street and walk along the mighty Hudson river. If you are up for adventures, there are plenty of hiking trails nearby and Catskill mountain skiing a short 30 minute drive away! Of note: Antique stove not permitted for use. Campfire: You will need to provide your own wood and keep the fire low (below the stone ring) as we are in a residential area. Our kitchen is 100% authentic Deco era, minus the vaulted ceiling. After being mistreated for many years, we put back all of the detail that had been taken. Each door, molding, appliance, piece of hardware was obsessed over. Our home still has a ways to go, needing an exterior painting and finishing in the closets. We have come very far, please overlook the few "To-Do-List" items. Enjoy! Walkable to restaurants, river. 20min drive to Hudson's Warren street and the Amtrak station that goes straight to Penn Station.
