For those who don't know - a Mews is a British term formerly describing a row of stables, usually with carriage houses below and living quarters above. Sorry, no horses these days! Four can stay comfortably in two rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a double. The property is finished in a contemporary style and benefits from both gas central heating and double glazing. Kitchen has an integrated SMEG gas hob, NEFF electric oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Dualit toaster and Dualit kettle. It also has a range of small appliances and plenty of cooking hardware. There is a bathroom with a slate floor and a bath with shower over it. The shower is powered by the combi boiler and provides lashings of hot water. The utility cupboard houses a washing machine/tumble dryer, and microwave The whole apartment is at your disposal, and includes bedding and towels. As much or as little as requested. We will welcome guests to the apartment and are very happy to share our local knowledge. The property is located on the edge of Dean Village, a protected World Heritage site and only a few minutes' walk from the city centre. The nearby Water of Leith walkway leads to the extensive range of shops, restaurants, and bars in Stockbridge. 2 min walk to bus stop, with very good service. 10 - 15 min walk (3 min by bus) to City Centre and Tram stop (with connection to the airport).
