Located on the west side (the "quiet" side) of Mount Desert Island, minutes from Acadia National Park hiking trails, Echo Lake Beach, downtown Southwest Harbor and more! Our location is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by woods. This apartment in on the second level, located above our garage and is attached to our main home, but it offers a private entrance and patio area. *Please note that entry to the apartment is via a short path from the driveway and an exterior, somewhat steep, staircase.

This adorable cottage was completely renovated in 2022. On the first floor you'll enjoy a new kitchen with granite counter top, a deep two bay porcelain sink, glass top stove, microwave, toaster oven, medium sized fridge and all the cookware and utensils you will need for meals. There is large stand up shower a washer and dryer, and a cozy living room with wifi supported TV. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a queen bed. There is a small porch on the front and a fire ring our back. Pets allowed.

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on what locals call "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking.
