You will find grocery stores and good restaurants nearby. The apartment is on fifth floor with a great view over Egilsstadir town and Lake Lagarfljot which supposedly hosts the infamous monster worm “Lagarfljotsormurinn". Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Perfect for 3-4 guests who wants to be alone from everything and discover the countryside of Iceland.
