Mindful Marbling Workshop
As an artist & meditator I designed this experience to be a creative antidote to stress & a take home tool to help us embrace uncertainty. I guide my guests towards the beauty of surrendering to life's present moment & into the psychological wellbeing of the creative flow state via the ancient mediative art of Japanese ink marbling. Not only do my guests leave the workshop relaxed & with paper and card prints of their creative work to take with them, but with a new creative skill set they can then replicate at home. We start with a relaxing cup of herbal tea in my lounge & a brief history of marbling. After which I guide my guests through an easy to follow guided meditation to relax my guests, enhance our feeling of wellbeing & prepare us to enter the flow state of creativity fully relaxed & free from the everyday stress of the world outside. Following on is a practical demonstration of the techniques involved in Japanese marbling. Guests are then invited to get creative themselves in the relaxed supportive environment of my home to create individual works of marbling art with all materials supplied. Message me your requirements I may be able to accommodate diff start time group bookings. Suitable for children from age 12 (unless you book a private family group booking, again message me your requirements).
First flight in Baie de Somme
It all started from the Abbeville aerodrome on a beautiful sunny day. This experience of course depends on climatic conditions. The 1st step consists of discovering the machine, a few words of explanation concerning the autogyro and also on the principles of flight, then briefing on the unfolding of the first flight. the flight experience lasts 60 minutes. We will fly to the bay of Somme and discover the fabulous landscape it will offer us, starting with the Marquenterre park, then a descent to the village of Crotoy to then cross this bay and join Saint Valérie, its Cape Hornu and the Houdel. We will continue our way along the coast to appreciate magnificent cliffs. It is of course recommended to take your camera or camera in order to be able to burn the visuals of this experience forever. The ULM can only carry 2 people at a time, so I am with only one traveler per flight. Other things to note I am a private pilot, I suggest that you share the costs of the flight with me, I do not carry out a commercial service and do not make any profit. In accordance with EASA regulations (cost-shared flight).

Tour & Tasting of a Cider farm
The Cider Farm Tour and Tasting begins in the Tasting Room with a sample of excellent organic apple juice, and an introduction to the Cider Farm family. We venture into the orchard of 3000 West Country cider apples. You discover some of the fascinating history and folklore behind cider and experience a surprise 'Wassail' or orchard blessing. Bees are important to us and we tell about their role in pollination, chemical free farming and wildlife. I explain how we craft our British Champion Ciders over 8 months from sun ripened apple to crisp, golden nectar in a glass. With a behind the scenes tour of apple pressing, harvesting and bottling equipment, you can see how see we press the apples and produce the ciders. We encourage guests to ask us questions about the art of blending and the alchemy of turning apple into award winning, amber-gold cider. The Tour is completed with a sampling of 4 delicious, handcrafted ciders, all made from organically grown cider apples, from Sweet Maiden cider, Old Harry Rocks vintage, Dorset Wild Cat, to our Elderflower, Ginger or Damson ciders. After the tour, you can relax in the Cider Garden, admire the art. Please dress according to the weather with appropriate footwear and coat, as we take you for a walking tour of our orchards.
Private Dday and Normandy tours
Discover the landing beaches in small or private groups, up to 8 people. I will tell you why the Allies decided to land in Normandy and why on June 6th. Visit the major spots in the American sectors of the Utah and Omaha beaches (Sainte Mère Eglise, American cemetery, Pointe du Hoc), the British sector of Gold Beach (Arromanches artificial harbour, Pegasus bridge), or the Canadian sector ofJuno beach, (Juno center, Canadian cemetery). I will guide you personally in the Airborne museum and in the cemeteries where we will take time for understanding and meditation. You will learn how difficult the landing was in Omaha. I will also show you my secret favourite places, off the beaten track. I will tell you stories of locals I interviewed, including those of my dad. I will also be glad to drive and guide you at Mont Saint Michel, and let you discover the great medieval city of Bayeux, my native town. I will pick you up from your accommodation or from the Bayeux railway station (direct train link with Paris). A tour in Normandy deserves a good guide. Make your trip an unforgettable experience.
