Have you always wanted to try out scuba diving? With this experience, you'll be able to discover the lesser-known underwater world of Cape Town without needing any prior diving experience. Join me, a local PADI Professional who will show you the kelp forests, seals, penguins, small sharks and fish varieties that Cape Town has to offer. *Meet at the meeting point. (Jubilee square) *Get ready and try on your diving gear and equipment ( booties, wetsuits, fins, mask, hoodies and buoyancy device) * We'll head to the dive site that I will choose on the day based on your experience level and weather conditions. * I'll then do a detailed briefing that covers safety, hand signals and what to expect on your scuba dive. *Once we are ready we'll get kitted up and go blow some bubbles. Snorkel the magical African Seaforest

HOSTS: Martin, Stephan, Haydn, Hannah & Daniela You are about to snorkel the magnificent Great African Seaforest, recently voted one of the SEVEN NATURAL WONDERS OF THE WORLD. There are only 9 kelp forest eco-systems globally & only ONE along the African continent. OVERVIEW: 1. We start with a warm welcome & introduction. Next we will brief you on the snorkel location for the day and answer questions / provide information as to what to expect at the snorkel site. 2. We provide you with a high quality wetsuit & snorkel gear to keep you snug & warm. 3. We bring a big yellow buoy for safety & for you to hold on to if a little more reassurance is required. THE SNORKEL ADVENTURE: We will be in the ocean (snorkelling) for about 1 hour. We access each location from shore (not a boat) & choose the location with your utmost enjoyment, safety & ease in mind. We will explore the incredible kelp forest floating/gliding on the ocean surface. The kelp forest is an incredible sight to see and some of the things we may encounter include kelp forest landscapes, schools of fish, sea stars, seals, penguins, small sharks, octopus & other curious sea creatures. Surf Lesson Experience in Muizenberg
Our 1½ hour surf lessons can be scheduled at a time convenient to you. Your surf coach will remain with you for the duration of your lesson, providing you with coaching at your own pace. All Surf/SUP lessons include: 1½ hours of surf coaching Rental of surfboard and wetsuit Use of our spacious club facilities (separate men’s and ladies change rooms, lockers and hot showers) What to bring: Please bring your swimming costume, towel, sunscreen and dose of enthusiasm! What to expect during your first surf lesson: Your lesson will be tailored according to your own surfing skill level. Experience Traditional Africa with Evi
We will meet at a sculpting workshop, where local craftsmen create beautiful stone sculptures. We will take a walk up through the Red Hill Informal settlement, through the various camps of which it comprises. The settlement is on the edge of the Cape Point Nature Reserve, and we will visit the scenic lookout spots on our way. We will meet the local tradesmen, one of our mechanics, a lady running a vegetable garden who produces free range eggs to sell. We will end at my house, where you will meet my family and children and have a traditional African meal cooked on an open fire. Vegetarian, vegan or meat depending on your preference. My community is friendly, safe, and survives because we look out for each other. I will explain how my community can function, what problems it faces, and I think you will find it eye-opening the reality of how a majority of the people in Cape Town and South Africa actually live. Other things to note Redhill Settlement is a safe and friendly community, where many of the residents don't even lock their front doors. This gives a unique environment in which guests can relax and immerse themselves in the culture without any worries.
Cape Town Tidal Pool Snorkeling
We'll take you on a snorkeling journey of our beautiful, turquoise tidal pools. They're filled with life and wonderful diversity! To see pics of many of the species of our tidal pools and more info, check out @wildbluevetty on Instagram. Each pool is its own special gem and the locations are stunning. We will meet at Pisces Divers where we'll collect kit, and we'll move on to the tidal pool from there. At the pool we will take in the beauty and kit up. After a snorkelling brief, we will take you out on our tidal pool adventure. While we're in the water we take some happy snaps that we share with you later that evening. We'll take your kit and you're free to savour the experience for the rest of the day! The experience takes around 2.5 hours. Please kindly let us know what your transport needs are. The time of day we go out will be pre-determined by forecast tides and conditions. Other things to note - Damaged or lost kit would kindly need to be replaced by yourself. The tidal pools are always beautiful, weather is changeable however. So important to check in with us about what conditions you'd be okay with! Also, there are no showers at the tidal pools. Then kit you with best surf equipment. Wind, tide & swell dependent you will get to surf the best local surf breaks on the day for your skill level. Local knowledge plays a huge part. Whether we hit the Atlantic or Indian ocean, there is a plethora of epic breaks & I’ll help uncover something for all persons Other things to note This experience is for all levels of surfing, please read reviews for a good understand of the experience. Paddle with the Penguins
Meet Terry Corr, qualified Marine Conservationist and Sea Kayak guide at our Shark Warrior Adventure Centre at Seaforth beach. You will receive a safety briefing before jumping into our comfortable sea kayaks, and head out into the big blue. Rounding the corner, you will be faced by incredible African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Paddling is easy, at your own pace and we reach the remote Windmill beach, where we spend time in the sun swimming. On our return journey, we head out to Ark rock, if conditions allow it to visit playful cape fur seals. We paddle back to our centre to complete our experience. An awesome adventure that is responsible, the best way to meet the Penguins, learn more about sharks, and the wonderful creatures that inhabit the unique kelp forests. Kelp forest snorkel experience with a marine biologist
You will develop a new appreciation for the ocean environment and the character of Cape Town's kelp forests. Kelp forests are magical places of serenity and wonder. We start with a crash course on the unique geography of the Cape Peninsula, and the processes that make Cape Town one of the most bio-diverse ecosystems on this planet. We follow up with a quick fish and shark identification lesson, where you'll be introduced to the marine life you may see on the snorkel. Then we get in the water where you help collect data for our marine research program that investigates the diversity and abundance of the local reef and kelp systems. Let's get wet and submerse ourselves in the underwater forests! Other things to note Guests must be comfortable swimming as this is a water-based experience. Minors (<12) must be accompanied by an adult.
Sail False Bay or learn how to sail or visit Seal Island
Come sail False Bay in Cape Town in a very safe steel yacht. As we generally have small groups, you the guests can suggest what you would like to do. We can anchor off a beach whilst you swim and snorkel or do basic sail training. Seal Island is a popular destination where you can see a large seal colony and if you're lucky perhaps a stealthy great white shark. I am a seasoned local skipper who can show you some of the natural wonders including, Seal Island and Cape Point. Feedback from our guests is that this is a true sailing experience, not a booze cruise or sun-downer type experience. We sail in almost any weather. If you want to experience strong wind sailing we can offer that with utmost safety. I am happy to also show you the ropes with some basic sailing tuition. My son Tor and I are accomplished watermen and can also assist with surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling. Please check availability by messaging me before booking.
Edible seaweed and plant cullinary experience
You will spend a morning on the beach exploring rock pools. Foraging and harvesting in our natural environment. We only harvest seaweed and mollusks that are prolific in our area. It is important to harvest sustainably and we focus very much in this area. I show you a variety of edible seaweeds, mollusks and fynbos plants endemic to my area. Foods that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. We begin the experience on the beach, where I teach you all the local abundant edible algae, plants and seafood that is available. We spend time learning and exploring. From there we go back to the Creative Classroom where we utilize what we have found in a cullinary experience. There are foods which have been prepped in advance to save time and give you the ultimate experience. There is a host of experiences in a half a day, from harvesting, learning and eating.

A Sunrise Hike to a Forest Sound Journey
Discover the magic of Muizenberg, Cape Town on this unique adventure. We start our morning at 5am with the first rays sunlight, where we take a short hike up into the Kalk Bay mountains to a gorgeous forest clearing. Here we move through some gentle yoga and breath work and then settle into a sound journey, completely surround by nature and all of her elements. At the end we begin our decent down the mountain, ending at a beautiful tidal pool to take a cold water plunge. Don’t worry, there is coffee and tea waiting for you to warm you up! Total time: 4hours Activity includes: hike, yoga, yoga mat, sound journey, water, coffee/tea, vegan croissant What to bring: hiking shoes, a warm jumper, swimming costume & towel, change of clothes About the hike: - 4km round trip - a steep climb in the beginning (nothing too advanced) - incredible views - secret trails About sound healing: - encourages a state of deep relaxation - healing through vibration and frequency
Scenic Paddle Board around Simon's Town
We will meet at Surfshack SUP in Simon's Town where you will be welcomed and get ready. We have short sleeve wetsuits which you may use and compulsory life jackets. Once ready we will head down to the beach, I will go over paddle techniques and safety with you. Then we will practice the different paddle techniques in a small protected bay this will take about 15 minutes. Once you have perfected the techniques we will paddle out around Simon's Town Bay getting a unique and memorable view of the historical Simon's Town navy, town and mountains this will take about 1hr. After the paddle session we will go back up to Surfshack SUP. This activity is weather dependent, please make sure to respond to messages and be in contact with me before the session goes out. Adventure Explorations in Cape Point Nature Reserve
Explore the Cape Point Nature Reserve to its fullest. Spend an adventurous half a day on hiking, scrambling, swimming and looking for the shy wildlife of the Cape - ostriches, eland, tortoises, caracals and baboons (those are not so shy!). We will hike to the most remote corners of the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, admire outstanding cliffs of the tip of the Peninsula, while enjoying a refreshing drink of your choice; we will picnic on Dias Beach, while observing the wildest waves of the Cape and we will visit the TRUE furthest South-West point of Africa. While we will be in the "touristy" part of the Reserve, we will find ourselves off the beaten track, exploring the secret spots of the Cape.
Snorkel kelp forest & secret Penguins
We will meet in the small touristic town of Simons town at Jubilee square. From there we will go fit all the gear we will need for the snorkeling in the kelp forest. Then we will go to the private beach where we will get ready and listen to a safety briefing. After we will enter the water from the beach that's great for people that gets seasick by boat but also want to explore the ocean. Then we will start our snorkel tour between the kelp forest where u can see all kinds of underwater gems. After snorkeling, we dry off and go for a penguin walk to see the penguins in there natural habitat. Other things to note To book this experience u need to be reasonably fit and able to swim.
Cape Town Water Biking Ocean Adventures
A fun and adventurous water biking ocean activity, departing from our private marina in the harbour. Meandering through the yacht basin towards the beach, then heading up to the Clan Stuart Ship wreck, dating back to 1914, before turning back towards the historical naval base.
