Just a 5 minutes walk will find you on the Harbour of the River Yare, here you can watch the ships roll in and even Fish if you wish. From here you can walk a further 20 minutes (5 mins by car) along the river to the Pier and stunning Gorleston Beach, ranked 8th best in the U.K
