Our property is in a very peaceful village, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. The famous town of Cognac with its distilleries (Remy Martin, Hennessy, Martell, Otard) is just a short drive away. Within easy reach are the towns of Saintes, St Jean d'Angely and Angouleme which we also find convenient for shops and meals out. We are a 10 minute drive away from the town of Matha which has bakers, butchers, chemists, Post Office, banks, restaurants, hairdressers etc. and several supermarkets.
