Olav the Holy lived 6 days on Listad in 1021 to prepare for a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the christianization of Norway. The water in the fountain is from "Olavskilden". The farm is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, in the middle between Oslo and Trondheim. The nearest neighbor is Sør-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdalsdomen).
