Beautiful idyllic cottage on 3000 sqm land A lot of hiking and bike trails offer all the possibilities. In addition, there are quite a few downhill ski slopes and cross-country skiing trails available in winter. The popular destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. At 950 m, the water dome is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers an extensive range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

The ground floor apartment is located in a quiet residential area in the Konrad-Zuse town of Hünfeld. It is located 500m to an outdoor swimming pool and 400m to the recreation park Haselsee. The city centre of Hünfeld with its cafes, shopping and restaurants can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot through the Bürgerpark. The nearby Rhön with its biosphere reserve as well as the ski and toboggan arena at the Wasserkuppe can be reached in about 35 minutes. To Fulda you can reach in about 15 minutes by car.

There is a relaxing break from everyday life in the countryside. We have chickens and goats on our small farm. In the middle of the front hair dryer, located at the Hessian cone game, the place offers the possibility of many excursions, e.g. to the Wasserkuppe, the Red and the Black Moor, as well as a city trip to Fulda (until December 23rd there is a Christmas market there). We recommend the Hessian Kegelspiel cycle path for excursion by bicycle. Staying with a camper is also possible with us.

Family Waldkauz's guesthouse in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventure seekers, families (with kids) and larger groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome and are very comfortable regularly.

It does not affect the holiday apartment, but there may be disturbances (internet, electricity, water, parking) and noise and dust nuisance.
