Situated on the Old Cabot Trail half-way between Baddeck and Ingonish, the Bosun's Chair is 2 km from the scenic Englishtown Ferry. There are a number of local hiking trails and a multitude of craft shops - most attached to their studios. The lower portion of the property is a 300' wide stretch of private pebble beach. And - new for 2018 - we are offering 1/2 and full day sailing instruction aboard our 37' sailing sloop.

The Monroe Point Lighthouse was built in 1905. This was a working Canadian Federal Lighthouse until 1962 and is located in St. Anns, N.S. Writers, songwriters, artists and guests from around the world have enjoyed the peaceful serene landscape with mountain and ocean/bay views.
