Because the cabin is twelve feet off the ground, the back porch offers you the feeling of being in a treehouse. All this luxury and only 200 yards away from the majestic waters of the world-renowned White River. If fishing is your desire, this is a fantastic spot to go catch yourself some trout! After you hook one, bring it back, clean it by the well-house and grill it up on one of our numerous grills for you to use at your leisure. Or, need help to catch the ‘ big one”? You can hire an expert fishing guide who will pick you up and drop you back off at our resort. If fishing isn’t your goal, how about a float or kayak trip down the river? We offer kayak and canoes so non-fisherman are happy and content too! Tired after a day of fishing and floating? You can soak your troubles away in the covered hot tub on the screened porch! We have lots of yard games too! Including volleyball, corn hole, frisbee, and horseshoes. Welcome to The White River! Entire cabin 8 acres Resort owners live on the grounds and will be available to assist or answer any questions for the duration of your stay. Check out Heidi's Ugly Cakes for lunch in the little town of Norfork, only 5 minutes. She's got the best deli sandwiches! Heidi's grilled cheese on a jalapeno cornbread is so yummy! Go shopping at Norfork's Curious Craftsman or the local antique mall for interesting finds. See the oldest ‘all-wooden’ structure west of the Mississippi, the Wolfe House. One of the most beautiful caves in the U.S., Blanchard Springs Caverns, is located 35 minutes south of us and should not be missed! Our 8 acres with 400 feet of private river frontage are yours to enjoy. A fire ring is located in the front yard. While we are located in a quiet country setting, groceries, banks, and several very good restaurants are within 15 minutes.
