The Snug | Romantic Double Room | Kilmartin Castle

We travelled around Scotland in 2014 & were disappointed that we couldn't find a castle to stay in that 'felt like a castle' once inside. After some searching we found Kilmartin Castle, which had dodged the Victorian home improvement brigade, quit our jobs, and set about creating the experience for visitors that we had hoped for. Plasterboard and down lighters became the new enemy of Kilmartin Castle! This is now a luxury retreat but there is no mistaking that it is also a 16th Century castle!
