Wonderfully presented throughout this cottage provides spacious accommodation which is ideally suited for families and friends getting together. The cottage presents with open-plan living, featuring a lovely, fully-equipped kitchen and dining table. Get yourselves comfortable on the plush L-shaped sofa where you can relax and enjoy some fun and games or watch a film on the Smart TV or from the DVD collection. Outside there are extensive gardens and lawns for the kids to play out on all day while you sit on the decked patio with a refreshing beverage or busy cooking on the BBQ. They will get lost in their own little adventure while you enjoy the surrounding peace and quiet of the grounds. Relax and breathe deeply without any road traffic nearby and at night you can take in the beautiful starry sky and just chill! Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the North Cornish coast famous for its surfing beaches or for those Geo-caching enthusiasts Dartmoor National Park offers orienteering and letterboxing. You can unwind in beautiful, unspoilt countryside and explore many hidden treasures along the Tamar Valley. A delightful day out with the family can be spent at Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Not too far away there are an array of pubs, shops and scenic views. The owners live on site along with their crew (two lovely Labradors, two cats and some cheeky hens!) and are more than happy to help you plan your holiday and advise on where to visit according to your wishes. There are plenty of farm shops nearby with Homeleigh Garden Centre being the closest. Here you can pick up all you need as well as local produce and gifts. The towns of Launceston, Holsworthy and Okehampton are the nearest and all have a rich history. There is a steam railway in Launceston where you can enjoy a trip through the unspoilt countryside of Cornwall. Great cycling along the granite way in Okehampton. You can find golf clubs in Holsworthy and Launceston. A recently built 1 bedroom self-contained annex in Launceston, the gateway to Cornwall. Our flat makes the perfect stop off if you are venturing further in to Cornwall, we are minutes from the A30 (the main route into the county). Also a great place to base yourself to explore the north and south coasts and moors of Devon and Cornwall. Please note that the annex is next to our family kitchen so there may be noise from our young family in the mornings and evenings.

My place is close to Dartmoor National Park. You’ll love it because of the peaceful and relaxing setting. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). It is ideal for a dog as there are lots of beautiful walks in the surrounding area we have a river just cross the road with fly fishing facility, you can hire rods from the village or bring your own ! and a recreation park with children swings are opposite.
