Quintessential weekend getaway in Germantown

La Casita is the perfect weekend getaway. A calm, stylish space, ideal for a small family or a couple. Nestled on a quiet country road. There is only one other house, and a meadow across the street - private but not secluded. 10 min. to Hudson and 7 min. to Germantown's Main St. After staying in a Germantown Airbnb, we decided we had to live here. Now we want to share our home when we are away. Originally, we are from Argentina & France, and La Casita is our loved little home in the country.

Brought back from the original bnb boarding days of the 19th century is our 1 bedroom top floor apartment located on a peaceful country road 15 minutes from downtown Hudson or Red Hook. You can still see the original numbers of the old boarding house on the doors! The house is surrounded by 12 acres of fields and forest that we welcome you to explore. Our dream is to make this place into a small homestead with animals, a geo dome greenhouse, and a wood fired sauna. Hope you enjoy!

Just a few minutes drive, explore the Hudson River Skywalk and the homes of Thomas Cole and Fredrick Church. Stroll down Warren Street for shopping and food. The fall brings lovely foliage and the unique taste of New York apples. The Catskills has much to offer and our cottage is in the perfect area to enjoy it all!
