I live 4 miles from the Harrisonburg City limits, 15 minutes from JMU, 5 minutes from EMU. This is a country setting with no close neighbors. The house is solar powered. There are great views of the mountains. There is a stream below the house to hike to. Lots of bird watching. I have a mushroom farm here, please ask for a tour. Plenty of outdoor space to run a dog. Kitchen use is very limited. I have two rooms for rent on AirBnb and one shared bathroom.

Very small, very simple room in my forest home. Private entrance w/keypad + private bathroom. Please note that I'm a little off the beaten path: - 5 minutes off I-81. - 15 minutes drive to most anywhere in Harrisonburg including JMU, EMU and downtown. -45 minutes from Shenandoah National Park entrance I don't charge extra fees so with your extra $$ you should check out my friend's Magpie Diner or one of the local coffee shops!
