Our flat has been newly renovated and is the perfect base for exploring the village of Braemar and wider Cairngorms. A fantastic base for walking, climbing, cycling (MTB or road) and skiing. Or, if you're looking to relax, make the most of it with a coffee by the river, a trip to our favourite patisserie and a wander round the village. A large shared garden for enjoying the afternoon sun or a BBQ.

The Holt

We are right on the beautiful Snow Road route through Aberdeenshire. The Cabin sits within a stone's throw on the River Gairn where in Autumn you can see salmon coming up to spawn. The Holt is detached from the main house and looks out on to the garden of our home, and heather clad hills beyond. In summer you can sit and watch oyster catchers nesting on the meadows. Numerous munros are accessible within an easy drive or bike, and an endless choice of smaller hills.

The Bothy at Ivy Cottage

The Bothy is a very comfortable and well appointed studio, with high ceiling and lots of natural light, in the heart of Braemar village. The floor area is approximately 22.5 metres squared. It adjoins Ivy Cottage B&B on one side, but is a completely independent accommodation, with its own entrance and separate parking for one car. From May to October it is available for check-in/out on Mondays and Fridays, and any day during the winter months.
