Charming and cozy cottage by the Charente river

Welcome to our home in Verteuil! We have made this house a comfortable & cozy place to stay. The house has 3 independent bedrooms (1 with an attached bath), an additional one & a half bathroom, a downstairs salon & an upstairs tv room. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people & does have a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped so enjoy a snack in the kitchen or a full meal in the dining room! A highlight of the house is the private dock. Have a drink on the dock and enjoy the view!

Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Friendly and vibrant village. Five minute walk to bar, butchers, grocery, pharmacy, doctors, hairdresser and post office. Exclusive use of garden and summerhouse with barbecue. Bio cotton bedding. 4km from N10 giving easy access to Ruffec or Mansle with supermarkets bars restaurants, markets. Both 15mins drive. Beautiful cottage in "La France Profonde"

Au milieu de nulle part et proche de tout !

Cette petite maison qu'on appelle "le cabanon" est parfaite pour faire une étape ou passer quelques jours à la campagne dans un endroit calme, au milieu de la nature et proche de la rivière. Idéale pour des gens qui ne se prennent pas la tête avec les détails, c'est un endroit cool et tranquille.
