Rental unit in Hudson
Admire Abstract Artwork at a Contemporary Hudson Hideaway
Newly renovated ground floor apartment in a sweet townhouse built in 1850. It is conveniently located both to explore Hudson as well as the surrounding countryside. Your private entrance is on State Street, framed by cherry trees. The bedroom, with queen-sized bed, walk-in closet, and full bath is in the middle of the house so it's quiet and peaceful. The kitchen area comes equipped and ready for easy meal prep. It is stocked with coffee, tea, basic condiments and more.
I will do my best always to greet you and show you the lay of the land. If that's not possible, the key-less entry will make for easy access.
I will assume you prefer your privacy. However, I live in the house as well so am available, and very willing, to give recommendations, directions etc.
This neighborhood is a quieter alternative to Warren Street, Hudson's main street, but only 2 blocks from it. Warren Street has a wonderful array of shops, from antiques and galleries to some amazing food and great coffee. Club Helsinki is about a 4-minute walk away. The Maker Lounge is about 5-minutes away in the other direction.
We are about a 15 minute walk from the Amtrak station... (or a +/- $5 cab ride.) Street parking is easily available and usually in front of the house. Once here, it's a friendly walking town.
While Hudson is certainly entertaining enough in and of itself, the surrounding countryside is extraordinary with many attractions of national importance - Olana, Thomas Cole House, Clermont, Art Omi, Bard College, Montgomery Place, etc. - making a vehicle of great benefit.

1865 Farm House: 2nd Floor with Outdoor Balcony
