We offer a cosy cabin in Kakanui, on the scenic route from Dunedin to Oamaru. 10mins drive to penguin colony and historic Oamaru. Kakanui has a shop for groceries, alcohol, take-aways and petrol. A restaurant in walking distance, open Wed-Sun. Maheno café/hotel is 10mins drive. Have a lovely quiet walk to river and along the beach and then back to the tiny house for coffee or tea. Self-serve breakfast is provide for first night. We are a couple who love guests. We speak English, Swiss-German.

Only 10 minutes' drive from Oamaru with its Historic Precinct and the end of the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail, and with the beautiful Kakanui beaches just down the road.
