Sailing Trip on a Catamaran in Marseille Bay
THIS IS A DISCONNECTED EXPERIENCE. Smartphones are turned off at boarding. You will embark on a 12-meter catamaran with François, a pro skipper, and quickly go underway, sails only, no engines, to experience the poetry of gliding on the water in silence. Help welcome ! Only if you wish, you can participate in boat manoeuvres and learn how a sailboat works and is safe. After a 1.5-hour, the boat will anchor in a calanque in the Frioul archipelago or the Côte Bleue, depending on the wind direction on that day. You will then be able share a drink, have a bath, paddleboard riding or just chill out. Note: It is a unique experience on a beautiful boat, in a warm atmosphere and an extraordinary landscape. Under the shade of the sails, in silence, your ability to marvel at the beauty of the sea will make a difference. François will do his best to make this to happen and it usually works wonderfully ! The sea makes us happy, allows to meet ourselves and the others. We will be back at Port de l'Estaque.

Catamaran sail ride in the heart of Calanques National Park
Come and sail through the bay of Marseille and to the heart of Parc des Calanques ! Wind, sea state and traffic will dictate the pace and itinerary to reach a nice mooring . You will appreciate the breathtaking landscape, the comfort of the boat and the friendship spirit. We'll enjoy swimming and lunch, SUP, snorkeling and sometimes cliff jumping if you wish ! The afternoon will be devoted to chill out and/or some more sailing on the way back to port… Please bring a small amount of food and drink you'd like to share with the others. So will I. Don't forget sun protection (cream, glasses, cap, (windproof) hat, ...), swimwear and towels. You'll be able to rinse off with fresh water after getting out of the water… Please note : This is not a "tick that postcard" tour with specific places visited but a sailing trip under sail where slow pace, contemplation and awareness are privileged. It's a "let's go sailing as friends in Marseille would" proposition. Your disposition to be aware of the environment in the shade of the sails, in silence and to meet people on board, will also make the difference. We like to meet foreigners, talk or stay alone but we all love Med blue waters, sun, nature and fine food. Come ! We'd rather be sailing !

Calanque bleue by train swim
- Go to Saint Charles station because it is by train that we will reach the coves of the blue coast through tunnels and viaducts. - We reach the small port of Ensues la Redonne at the start of the customs path which we cover to reach the beach of Figuiére and its almost perfect cove. Swimming in blue waters. - We continue towards the double cove of Mejean and its micro village. - This is where the wild coast begins with its cliffs and superb marine reefs. We arrive at the cove of Everine facing the island of the same name. The place is ideal for mask and snorkelling, among the most beautiful seabed in the region. - Finally it is the Jonquier cove and its turquoise waters to arrive at the small port of Niolon clinging to the cliff, perfect place for a refreshment before taking our little train back to its improbable station. Other things to note It is better to know how to swim, take enough water! Otherwise the ride does not require special skills, the cumulative elevation positive / negative is around 350 meters more a long ride than a hike. Fans of organic green clay baths with sea salt will be delighted!

In the morning, let’s meet around the city hall, and walk along the Vieux-Port pier. We will then enter the Panier, Marseille’s oldest neighboroud, before heading back to the pier, where we will say goodbye. On a late afternoon, we will enjoy the soft light on the Vieux-Port, make a short entrance in Le Panier narrow streets, and then reach the Mucem, a magnificient modern structure overlooking the méditerranean sea. We will part ways close to the beautiful Major cathedral.

Explore a magnificient and unknown neighborhood of Marseille
In Marseille, you have tourist attractions as "le Vieux Port", Notre Dame de La Garde, la Canebière, les Calanques, the Stadium but you have also magnificent, really unknown and silent areas just next to the center of the city ! All the photos you can see, have been taken about 15 minutes far from the Vieux Port ! Leaving from Vallon des Auffes, we'll follow the all too often noisy and polluted "Corniche" by going through back roads. We'll pass at the edge of rocky coves less busy than beaches, and discover secret gardens, picturesque cottages, abandoned sculptures and old mansions by walking along green paths and banisters through a lush vegetation. A gorgeous route that only some insiders know about, if they live in the area ! For photography lovers or just for the pleasure, we'll take meditative breaks when arriving at the wonderful view spots over Marseilles natural bay. Of course I'll tell you about the history of this district and its evolution with the rise of the real estate and the arrival of « famous people ». After three hours power-walking (ascending and descending quite a few stairs !), we'll access to a little piece of heaven overhanging the sea.A guaranteed change of scenery ! Come with me to discover an other Marseille ! Other things to note WATCH OUT ! You need to be in good shape for this kind of walk. When we finish, I'll take you to the bus stop (number 83) close to the Prophète's beach or you can rent a city bike or scooter nearby.

You will get a wine from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Provence, wines from two other French regions and of course a Champagne. For each wine I will introduce the region, present the grape variety, explain the traditions and the terroir of the region. Then we will assess the wine looking at appearance, nose and palate. We will answer your questions. We will share local recommandations if you want to visit domaines or try great restaurants and bars. If you like you can buy the wines you tasted and liked.
Marseille: a bouquet of taste and beauty
Our future walk is an impression with notes of history, taste, aesthetics, local character and humor in a friendly atmosphere. Marseille through the eyes of a local resident is a hidden corner of the tastes of childhood and places of relaxation for the soul and body of the Marseilles. We start the walk with a short introduction about the history and temperament of Marseilles, which took 3,000 years, look at the places of tasting the tastes of the ancient Greeks, Provencal generations of the last 500 years and cheer up a strong pastis - a drink of true Marseilles. We will dilute the tastes with pleasures for the eyes: beautiful panoramic views with interesting perspectives from the pages of your favorite books and from fragments of the legendary films about Marseille. Adventure stories Count Monte Cristo, Night in Lisbon, Barber, Borsalino, Fabio Montale, French Liaison, as well as Taxis are waiting for us in temperamental Marseille! Dive into the rhythm of life in completely different corners of the city: from crazy-criminal to measured-bourgeois. And if possible, finish the day in Marseilles: la mer - le soleil - un verre de vin * ... ---------------------------------- * SPRING-SUMMER season - there is the possibility of a Provencal picnic with sea views as part of an additional program. @ Other things to note Our walk is an impression with notes of history, taste, aesthetics, local character and humor in a friendly atmosphere. The program has permanent seats, and there are surprises exclusively seasonal.
