Gite Castagné

Castagné stands high on a horseshoe valley close to the village of Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve and its lake. The adjacent main house that we live in is 150 years old and was built by the Castex family who are buried in the village churchyard. The detached open-plan gîte is the original C18th farmhouse and the swimming pool sits within the walls of what was its barn. We are surrounded by orchards, fields of sunflowers, sweet corn and space to take either a short walk or a more ambitious ramble.

The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located a 10 minute walk to the historic center. You access the studio (20 m2) through a private entrance, you have a functional kitchen equipped with the essentials (no oven). You are free to have your meals or rest in the garden, in the shade of the umbrella pine. Very quiet neighborhood.

To specify in the same room a king size bed that can be separated into 2 beds in 90 as well as an excellent sofa bedding. This room of about 25 square meters serves as a living room and overnight stay. Parking on private parking lot.
