Welcome to my home! After a brief conversation and a small welcome snack, we will cook together a typical Genoese menu (an appetizer, a first dish of pasta, a second and a dessert) and I will tell you a little history and curiosity about the Ligurian cuisine and its traditions We will also eat what I cooked with my family (it includes unlimited water and a bottle of wine every two guests!) I am very happy to share what I have learned from my mother, mother-in-law and the cooking classes I attended: I am not a professional chef!!!

Let's have fun cooking together! Come and learn how to prepare some typical dishes of the Genoese tradition. I will accompany you by telling you the story of the dishes we will cook. After immersing ourselves in the preparation of the dishes, we will have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea, sipping Italian red wine. At the end of the experience, you will receive your recipe booklet and if you wish, some of the food we have prepared. During the class you will learn how to prepare authentic Ligurian food. We will prepare the doughs, the filling and I’ll share some tips with you. At the end we will eat together what we prepared: Focaccia,, Torta Cappuccina (a vegetable pie), Pansoti (Ligurian ravioli filled with a cheese similar to ricotta and borage) and of course Salsa di Noci (walnut sauce). If you want we can even decide to prepare alternative dishes in advance (at least one week before the lesson). In the low season, not too chaotic and sultry, we'll also stop for a visit to the quaint village of Vernazza, or we will finish the tour enjoying the local crystal clear sea once more. We will leave from Framura port, to escape from the confusion of mass tourism. Aboard a comfortable 6.5 meter boat, we will leave for Bonassola where we will pass in front of its bay for a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of the "Prie Rosse", a fascinating spot where you can snorkel in crystal clear waters and not reachable if not by boat. We will admire the beautiful villa overlooking the sea and then head towards Framura. Passing through the beach of "Porto Pidocchio" we will head off the beaches of "Valla '", beautiful sandy beaches difficult to reach and still little known. And more the "pietre rosse" and many others After so many baths and snorkelling, what better than a rich and delicious aperitif with the famous focaccia of "Cueva Blanca" and a glass of 5 Terre wine in a suggestive spot abord of a boat. Boat trip with aperitif at sunset among music, friends and a unique view. Quite flexible timetable, basically departure around 6.30 to explore the Portofino coast with the last of the sun, unlimited swimming in the most hidden and renowned coves between Santa Margherita, Portofino, San Fruttuoso and Camogli; to finish with a breathtaking aperitif at sunset in the place you liked best. The evening ends with a return to the starting point around 9 as the sun goes down and gives us unique colors. There are 2 boats: - A typical 8-metre Ligurian gozzo completely restored in 2021 which therefore has every comfort: awning, bluetooth audio system, fresh water shower, large sundeck and double fridge. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests plus the skipper who will allow you to enjoy the experience to the fullest. -A new dinghy Salpa Solei 18 from 2023 also equipped with every comfort such as hand shower, fridge, Bluetooth stereo and double sundeck. We will start from Levanto pier (or Monterosso) and spend 3/4 hours sailing within the Cinque Terre National Park Marine Area You will admire the five colorful seaside villages, as we will tell you about the geographic and cultural curiosities that characterize this territory, its history and local daily life, sipping prosecco and tasting the delicious local products. We will take you to discover beautiful little coves for diving and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Cinque Terre National Park. During the less crowded and warm months, we will stop for a visit to the characteristic village of Vernazza and will be back. When sailing, we will have the opportunity to admire the characteristic seaside villages of Cinque Terre from the sea: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore. During the hikes, we will stop for bathing and snorkeling in beautiful bays, coves and diving into the crystal clear waters of the Cinque Terre Marine Park. During the sail, breakfast will be offered with tea, coffee, milk with products from the Ancient White Pastry Shop, one of the historic symbols of Levanto. We'll meet at the Rapallo Harbour, introduce you to my sailboat and set sail straight away. As soon as we exit the harbour we'll be greeted by the stunning view of San Michele di Pagana, one of the less known and most beautiful towns around Portofino. Next we'll head in the direction of Portofino passing through the magnificent bays of Santa Margherita ligure and Paraggi. Once close to Portofino you'll be able to admire the typical painted facades of the village houses in the small harbour and we can stop for a plonge in the bay, in front of Dolce and Gabbana's private villa before passing the Portofino Lighthouse heading to the real highlight of our trip: San Fruttuoso di Camogli, this pearl of the Ligurian sea, inaccessible by land is in the middle of the Portofino natural reserve. Founded almost 2000 years ago around the abbey which is right on the beach, it consists of only a few houses and has a couple of amazing sea food restaurants still run by locals where you can have the best pesto and the best fish of your trip. After that you can swim or take one of the SUP boards to the uderwater statue of the Christ of the abyss, I'll lend a mask and flippers if you want to try and dive to it. On our way back we'll stop for a last dive around Paraggi and by 5 we'll be back in Rapallo. This experience is safe for all. Had guests from 6 months old to over 70.

In this cooking lesson you will learn how to cook one of the most typical dishes of the Ligurian tradition starting from scratch: of course I'm talking about pasta with pesto! She will be pleased to open her home to all curious travelers who want to experience a real Genoese dinner. You will start the lesson by preparing the most famous ligurian pasta sauce: pesto. It traditionally consists of crushed garlic, European pine nuts, coarse salt, basil leaves, hard cheese such as Parmigiano-Reggiano all blended with olive oil. In a unique trip, away from the tourist flow, we will paddle along the Genoise east coast, where in the seventeen hundreds the Russian wheat was worked in local mills and pasta factories to produce excellent pasta, appreciated till the South America; we will paddle to "porticciolo Nervi" a small fishing harbour where we can land for a gelato stop. Then moving along the Anita Garibaldi promenade, till the east edge of the town, we arrive under Villa Giannettino Luxoro, a gorgeous bourgeois nineteen hundreds villa, standing on a vertical cliff, facing the sea. Then we move back to the starting point. And why not?
