Built by our ancestor, M. R. Raman, the house has been in continuous occupation since 1939. M. R. Raman generated his vast fortune from his business empire in Ceylon. His international exposure translated to some unique features to this otherwise traditional 'Tharavadu', ancestral home, such as Japanese wall tiles and wrought iron grills. This imposing three story structure with its wooden pillars and wooden ceiling has been immortalised by the, 60+, films, serial and commercials filmed here.

Siddhu is my little nephew. This place is run by my mother, Valsa TR, a retired banker. The flat is in West Nada, less than 200 meters from the Guruvayur Temple entrance. You will be interacting with her. (Kindly note: The location on Airbnb website is slightly wrong, we are trying to fix it) There are many eateries and shops nearby. The flat has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a small living room with a dining table. We have a small kitchen where you can prepare tea/coffee or a meal if required.

The flat is recently built, less than 200 meters away from West Nada main entrance to the temple. It is small but well-furnished. There is a small pantry space where you can cook a meal, refrigerator, a dining table, a sofa-bed, television and a bed room which can easily accommodate two adults and 1 child. It's a peaceful locality, and the apartment is clean, maintained by a retired banker.
