Our experience will start from Sorrento Port, make yourself confortable with a fresh drink, we are ready!!! Crossing the Sorrento gulf you ll see the ''Regina Giovanna'', an ancient roman s house built on the rock, the ''Saraceno''tower, the little village of Sammontano, the Lobra s marine untill the ''Campanella'' cape, the last piece of Sorrento coast... at this point we ll be arrived on the other side, the Amalfi coast.... sailing with the sun on front we ll reach the '' Li Galli '' islands, a magical hotspot in the middle of the sea,the perfect place for a fresh swim. After this stop, i ll take you to the city of Amalfi, you ll have one hour and half to visit this ancient ''Maritime Republic'' and its baroque cathedral. On the way back we ll coast until Positano city, you ll admire breathtaking landscapes, the ''Furore'' fjord, Praiano. You ll have an other one hour and half of free time to walk among the narrow streets of Positano and the beach of ''Fornillo''. We ll cross Nerano untill the ''Mortelle'' beach to snorkeling in cristalline water... coming back to Sorrento with a red sunset you ll fall in love of my coast... jump on board !!! The workshop is held in the school of the Verace Neapolitan Pizza Association and involves the preparation of pizza with the help of an instructor of the Association that will lead the participants on this interactive journey. We will leave the civil garments to become pizza chefs with a personalized apron designed for the occasion, we will talk about the "ideal" products, we will prepare the dough by hands to be able to understand the right consistency, will roll the dough on the counter of pizzaiolo and, after having covered it with tomato, Campana buffalo mozzarella, basil and olive oil, the participants will be ready to bake it according to tradition in the old wood-fired pizza oven. Finally, everyone will eat the result of their work, pizza a portafglio (folded in four).For the last hour you will enjoy a moment of conviviality as the Neapolitans love, at the table in front of traditional Neapolitan pizzas signed by our instructors. Learn about the history of pasta, its different shapes and sizes, and when to use which one. We'll get our hands dirty in the kitchen; everyone gets to make their own portion of pasta for the lunch! I'll help and guide you through making your own fresh pasta by demonstrating and giving tips. You'll learn how to make hand-cut pasta as well as making pasta with the help of a hand powered machine. You get to help prepare our meal with our freshly made pasta and we'll sit down together to enjoy lunch with a glass of wine. My dates are flexible - if your preferred date is not on the calendar, just ask me! Depending on which type of pasta we're making, the duration of this course may vary. We will teach you how to cook typical Neapolitan dishes; starting from the way of making pasta at home; following with two types of sauce for seasoning the pasta and at the end with a second dish of meat or fish. This tour consists of a pleasant walk around the ancient Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed and covered in ashes by the VESUVIUS in 79 AD. During the famous eruption, Pompeii and its inhabitants were buried by tons of pumice and volcanic ashes, which preserved many things and materials in amazing conditions. The tour starts here, and after it you'll have time to grab some lunch or to stroll on the souvenirs' shops outside the ruins. Then I'll provide you with the Circumvesuviana train tickets and we will catch it in order to get to Herculaneum (20 mins trip circa) and start our walk in the ruins. Herculaneum is much smaller, but even better preserved than Pompeii. While Pompeii had been covered in four meters of ashes, an avalanche of 20-meters-thick mud had buried Herculaneum. Two-floor buildings, carbonized wooden objects, intact paintings and mosaics are still observable there. The site gives a vivid impression of the opulent lifestyle enjoyed by the wealthier citizens of the Roman Empire! Our walk ends in Herculaneum. So First step I'll give aprons, and we'll start creating the dough. You gonna receive all explanations about ingredients. its process and secrets, step by step you'll make your neapolitan dough! Second step will be about cutting the dough, through a special and old technique of more than 600 years, called "mozzatura", learnt from mozzarella chefs. After i will give you a local starter, you will taste organic products tomato from Vesuvio , homemade bread and fried arancini. This part is very important for you to understand the high quality of products that everybody should use while cooking. Finally we gonna make the Margherita pizza! I will show you how to stretch out pizza dough and add ingredients on top like only a pizza chef does. I'll explain you each ingredient but a little focus more on our juicy San Marzano tomato recipe.
