Older house in a cosy garden. 100 m from the sea. Good starting point for short and longer hikes in Stølsheimen and along Sognefjorden. Ortnevik is a small building with shop and ferry connections to Nordeide, Høyanger/Vik in Sogn. The village also has a church. We have written some advices how to find the best way to the house, but you can only find them after you have decided to come to us. You can seek at the timetables for public transport at web: "kringom" or call +47 177 to get help.

Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It's a picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park. The local ferry can take you to see a bit more of the surrounding area, such as Vik, Voss and Flåm. Along side the mountain and forest trails, fishing and rowing activities found here. We expect guests to clean the cabin to the same standard they found it in or there is the option of cleaning for 500 NOK.
