We will visit the Amador Causeway, a road that connects four small islands on the Pacific, and was made with the excavated materials from the Canal. Depending on the traffic, I will drive you through the Bridge of the Americas, one of the bridges over The Panama Canal. After crossing the bridge, we will visit a viewpoint, a special spot where you can take pictures of the bridge, the Pacific ports, and the ships. Then, we will stop at the Goethals Monument, a beautiful white Vermont marble structure built to honor George Washington Goethals for his achievements during the Panama Canal construction. Behind the Goethals Monument, you will see the Panama Canal Administration Building, a landmark of the Panamanian history built in 1914. Our next stop is at the Panama Canal Miraflores Locks Visitor Center, where you may see the ships while they pass through the Canal. You will learn about its history, operation and recent expansion. At the Panama Canal IMAX Theater, we will watch the 45-minute 3D movie "Panama Canal, a Land Divided, a World United". After the tour, you will be driven back to the meeting point. Things to do near Costa del Este

Jungle tour and Embera lifestyle
I will pick you up at your accommodation in downtown of Panama City and head to the Chagres National Park. Once at the port by the Chagres River, the friendly Embera villagers will take us in a traditional canoe by this river, the main source of water for the Panama Canal. We will leave the boat at one shore of the river where we will the walk through a trail in real jungle, this is walking over dirt and/or mud, crossing a creek several times to get at a pristine waterfall and swim in its refreshing water, then we will walk by the same trail back to the boat and head to the village where you will be welcomed by the Embera community. There, we will have fruits and lunch while one of the leaders share with us about their way of life inside a traditional huts without walls to allow air circulation. This visit is complemented by a performance of their traditional music and dance. Finally, we will go back to the port and then rest in the car while you enjoy the way back to your accomodation in Panama City. Note: The trail is in the jungle (as is) so this experience might be challenging o not suitable for people with reduced mobility however I had people with knee surgeries completing the hike so we can do it together! I will pick you up from your accommodation in downtown of Panama City to go 30 minutes by car to the Soberanía National Park where we will take a boat and get into the Panama Canal. We will pass by huge ships and experience the scale and importance of this magnificent feat of engineering. Inside the Canal we will arrive at a group of islands in a protected area in order to see as many species of animals as possible (and there are many !!), among them we will see monkeys, crocodiles, birds, iguanas, sloths and others. You will learn about the types of ships that pass through the Canal, you will identify animals and develop your vision to spot them. This is an extraordinary experience and memorable, completely outdoors and you will enjoy it a lot! Other things to note You have to remember that it is not a zoo, you will visit a natural habitat, although one of the objectives is to observe animals, it is not easy to find them, I will do everything possible and with your participation so that we can spot them but on very few occasions it is possible not to find some species.

We'll also pass through one of the most affordable artisan markets. From here, we are going to ride the underground metro to the city center to explore the laid-back Via Argentina neighborhood. Urban jungle hike, empanadas and coffee
Our day will start in Via Argentina, a hip neighborhood in the city center. We will start at an independent coffee shop to have empanadas and Panamanian coffee (or another beverage if you don't drink coffee) so that we are energized for the day. From here we will walk to the metro station and take it to the closest point to where we will begin our urban jungle hike. We will walk down Avenida Central, a lively pedestrian street where you’ll get to see the real Panama. During our walk the chaos of Panama City will slowly end and transition into tropical jungle scenery. We will be ascending up to the highest natural point in Panama City, enjoying stunning city views while sometimes spotting sloths, monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife until we reach the top. During our journey, you will also learn why this was an area that Panamanians were once not allowed to enter and how they were finally able to step foot back into their own land. From the top, you’ll see a 360-degree view of the skyscrapers, ocean, and Panama Canal. The walk from the metro station to the top of the hill and back down is approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) so we’ll be getting our steps in for the day!

That program is only in English language available! This tour is starting at 8:00 am in the morning, and finishing around 3:00 pm The tour include a waterfall tour with swimming if you like. I would like to pick you up from your hotel in Panama City, and show you the Gamboa area which is in the middle of the Panama Canal. The biggest artificial lake Gatun has got many different island with natural wild life. We will visit the indigenous Embera Indians and the monkey island. During our boat trip you will see the crocodiles, bats, different birds, and of course the monkeys. I will take you to the indigenous native Indians environment to the Embera village, where you can see how the native Indians live. You will see their nice welcoming behaviour and how they dance. After we will have a delicious lunch with local tropical fruits. And after we will go to see a beautiful waterfall. Bring your swimsuit if you like to swim. Sail on a Catamaran to Beautiful Caribbean Beaches
Spend a unique day with us by sailing the Panamanian Caribbean coast. We have more than 15 years experience and we're happy to share our knowledge with you while sailing to beautiful tropical beaches, which are only accessible via sea. Pick-up is at 7am at your accommodation in Panama City, and we'll drive almost 2 hours to Portobelo, which is a historic port built by the Spanish in 1597. Once at the dock, we'll get to the Catamaran by speedboat. After a short briefing, we'll navigate to our first stop: Blues Veins. Here we'll explore the interior lagoon by dinghy, and then stop at its heavenly beach, where you can have a walk, swim and do snorkeling to observe beautiful corals and starfish. Then back to the boat we'll have lunch prepared with local products (different dietary options available). After we'll sail for 20 minutes to get to our next stop: Puerto León, a white-sand beach. Here its crystal clear water and corals make it the perfect spot for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and paddle-boarding. From there we'll sail back to Portobelo and take you back to the city. If you easily get seasick, you can bring along some preventive meds and will also give you tips on how to feel better. Don't miss the chance to learn how to sail and make new international friends.
