The surrounding beaches offer great snorkelling and even fishing if your up for it. We have fishing rods available. The unit is situated on a lifestyle block where we house several animals including horses, goats, chickens, a cat and dog. The area is a renowned kiwi zone so hearing the kiwi call at night is quite a frequent occurrence.
