In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point and then we will be heading to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region), olive oil, and other products produced with olives and everything paired with local bread, jelly, cheeses, and hams. At this winery, we will have the chance to have a short walk at the vines and depending on the stage of the vineyard, learn about the work being done at the moment, such as pruning, grafting, and harvesting. The second stop is at Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians. Still, at Pinhão, we have a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a background view (shared with other groups) The journey will continue through the National 222 in, direction of our last winery, something very small and intimate where you will have the chance to try the wines of the last local producer.

OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT SURFING EXPERIENCE, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards and head down to the sand. This experience is for Small Groups (MAXIMUM 8 PARTICIPANTS per COACH) from total beginners surfers. For the first 15 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then the rest of the classe with an instructor in the ocean. My plan is to welcome you to the Freixo Marina, where I will offer you a welcome drink (Port Wine or Sparkling Bruto) with almonds with aromatic herbs and we begin sailing, always made in a paused and safe way. We will see the Freixo Palace, just next to the Marina and sail the river below, admiring from this perspective the 6 bridges connecting Porto and Gaia, first you will see the Freixo Bridge and then you can admire the bridges of S. Joao and Maria Pia, this last landmark of the city, designed by Eiffel. Next, you'll see the D. Luis I bridge, the Ribeira Pier and Vila Nova de Gaia, where the Port wine cellars are located and, finally, the Arrábida Bridge. We will see a picturesque fishing village to Afurada, the Cabedelo Nature Reserve and the romantic old Foz. Learn how to make the famous "Pastel de Nata", so that you can return home and enjoy the traditional Portuguese pastries made by you. While learning how to bake traditional pastries, you can taste a regional wine and learn about Portuguese culture and history through a gastronomic conversation. Once it's ready, it's time to enjoy the learning results with some warm pastries! In this experience, the host will give the participants the opportunity to alternately participate in the different phases of making the pastel de nata. Hosting is a passion and I have been doing this all my life with friends and family and so to call it a job: is a dream come true. To start our experience, we will talk a little bit about me and my family since this is a recipe that belongs to my grandmothers and we have been doing it for years, so you can understand the uniqueness and how lucky I was when growing up eating these amazing Pastéis. This is a hands-on class, we will bake everything from scratch as a group with my help! That is the most important part, we will create the most delicious Pastel de Nata because we will put lots of love, time and care into them. Everybody will help, we will take turns and I will give you a lot of fun facts regarding the story about them and who created Keep in mind: You don't need to be a baker to do this experience - the recipe is simple and I will guide you through all the process. Babies and toddlers are not allowed since we deal with hot liquids, very hot oven, knifes and my house as a lot of art that breaks. Only children above 6 years old are allowed in the experience.

We will just do what a few brave people from Porto did for 45 years: enjoy an amazing night view in the most exclusive spot of the city! The only thing that was added is safety and confort... I will guarantee you exclusive access to the Arrábida Bridge's Arch; since I'm the guy who has the key to the arch (yes, at night I'm the only guide visiting it!), this is a unique and exclusive experience. We'll go up 262 steps to reach the summit of the Arrábida Bridge's Arch, where a quiet viewpoint lays just under one of the busiest bridges in Portugal. Up there, we'll have time to enjoy the view with a delicious surprise, and to celebrate the conquer of this national monument. In fact, this spot was occupied over the years by intrepid youngsters from Porto... the difference now is that we have steps, a handrail, two steel cables and an harness attached to it. This makes the experience suitable for everyone that can go up and down stairs, even if they have vertigo :) There will be plenty of time for sharing stories about the bridge and taking pictures. No one can believe it! Other things to note If you wish, bring your camera, mobile phone and/or go-pro. No special clothing or shoes are required, just something confortable (avoid short skirts to confortably dress the harness).
