Alexandra Cottage is a secret hideaway in the heart of the ancient market town of Penryn, offering a luxury retreat in one of Cornwall's most beautiful and bustling coastal areas. The stone-built, slate-roofed cottage has a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room, and a sumptuously stylish open-plan sitting room/kitchen with a woodburner for cosy nights in after bracing walks on the coastal path. A sunny terrace provides the perfect spot for alfresco dinning with a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. Only 5 minutes drive is the harbour town of Falmouth, with its independent shops and art galleries, beaches and the world-famous National Maritime Museum. It's also within easy reach of the Helford River and its glorious sailing waters, hidden coves and fabulous walking routes. The cottage is tucked in the corner of a large walled garden, across the lawn from a beautiful double-fronted stone house. Alexandra Cottage has its own parking and separate entrance.

Book our self-contained accommodation and you can come and go with a key to your own front door, a large comfortable double en-suite bedroom to rest up in and in summer enjoy a small seated area outside. Private, separate entrance, off road car parking. Situated between Truro and Falmouth. An extremely handy location. Please note that it’s not suitable for babies or very young children.

Stunning situation overlooking the beautiful River Fal with a single room cottage, eco pod and own ablutions block with electric shower and mains WC. Your own garden and private sitting area with sofa, chairs, fire pit and BBQ with free use of canoes and paddle boards. Lovely dogs welcome. Totally charming and all just for you .
