Enjoy Birch Bay & NW Washington at the Beach Cabana.

15 mins from US/Canada Border Crossing

The Cabana is a short walk to the beach. It's simple, modern decor & thoughtful amenities allow you to relax & just enjoy your visit. It features a fireplace, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, fridge, TV & Wi-Fi .

While the Cabana does not have facilities a full bathroom is just steps away in the main house.

Spectacular sunsets & view of Birch Bay, San Juan's & Vancouver Island from the back patio.

The space
The Cabana is an ideal home base from which to explore Birch Bay/Blaine, Bellingham and all of NW Washington. The Canada/US border is a short 15 minute drive making it a great stopover for those entering or exiting Canada.

This cozy little cottage is situated within a beautifully landscaped property near the beach with scenic views. Guests are able to enjoy the grounds day or night. The property is private, quiet and secluded yet close enough you are never too far from anything. The owner lives onsite, is a long time resident and happy to provide area information, recommendations and general visitor information if needed.

The Cabana is a relatively small space. Ideal for one or two people (exceptions made for infant children).

A great way to experience Birch Bay is on two wheels or by paddling around in the warm waters of the bay. We offer kayaks and bicycles for rent for a small additional fee. Rental details are included in the house manual or just ask your host.

The Cabana is clean, comfortable and convenient to the recreation, entertainment and sights this area offers.

Where you’ll be

Blaine, Washington, United States

We are located on a ridge above the beach in a residential neighborhood near the famous C Shop. A local cafe and candy shop that has become a tradition among visitors and locals alike.

There is typical neighborhood noise and activities (dogs, lawnmowers, cars) but it is generally a quiet and peaceful area. The adjacent homes are almost exclusively occupied by full time residents. There is not a loud, party type atmosphere that some parts of Birch Bay have during the summer tourist season.

The Cabana is centrally located with easy access to other cities, towns and attractions:

I'm a single father, avid motorcyclist, fisherman, traveler, music lover and eater. I have been living in Birch Bay off and on for most of my life and I think there is no better place on earth to call home. I live with my adult daughter and sidekick Bruno a small mixed breed dog.

I enjoy meeting guests but will allow you privacy unless you engage with me first. Ask me questions about the area, it's history, where to go and what to do and I'll give some tips and hacks only the locals know about.
