Small and colourful

The four-sided farm of 1890 still serves as a farm. Only the street-side residential building has been used for living. Our guest apartments on the upper floor are now to create the balancing act between old and new. So we (+ a dog and a cat) still live downstairs with the same furniture as my great-grandparents.

Since July 2018, we have operated 5 cozy apartments for 2 adults and 2 children each. We welcome guests from all over the world! Stunning views over Lake Beetz, access to the on-site beach and a boat mooring just a 5-minute walk from the holiday property. On the 4000 sqm fenced holiday area you will find a playground to romp around and a sauna to relax. Rowing boat on request. Camping on the holiday site is also possible by arrangement.

We once again rolled up our sleeves and made the more than 80 m2 milking apartment on the upper floor of our house fit. What was important to us was the use of existing historical furniture and components, as well as the use of natural building materials: lime plaster, wood from our own forest, wood fibre insulation boards, linseed oil, wooden windows... The result was a spacious wellness apartment with some surprises.
