Fisherman’s cottage with lovely garden in which you can relax and enjoy your stay. Your dogs are welcome! The cottage is a 5 minute walk from the Marina, 10 minutes from the sea and in the other direction 5 minutes from town. Across the road you can walk your dogs through the field and along the creek. There are lovely restaurants, cafes, a Coop, Spa and Tesco’s express, not to mention the ice cream parlour! There is a skate park, childrens’ playground, boating lake and a lido all within 10 mins

Now with super-fast Fibre Max internet, The Beach House is situated on the Essex Sunshine Coast, right on the bank of a tidal creek with stunning views of the sea in front and the river behind. Being in the Nature Reserve, we cannot accept dogs or pets of any kind; sorry. We do not let to groups; we only let to families or two couples maximum. Absolutely no groups of more than four guests or parties of any kind. High tide sometimes cuts off the house so please be aware of this.

Wayside cottage is an end of terrace property which is 150 years old, located in the historic village of St Osyth. It is situated in between the village centre, where you will find all the necessary amenities, and Mill Dam Lake, where you will find water sport activities, scenic walks and bike rides. The cottage has been completely renovated to retain all the original quirky features of wonky ceilings, old exposed beams and original gate doors. The rooms are cosy and inviting.

Ideal location whether you are visiting Clacton for business or leisure. A 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the sea front. The town centre supermarket is a 2 minute walk away and so is the town centre. There is off-road parking for 1 car. In the heart of lower Wivenhoe on the quay, our little self-contained cottage was once part of the home of The Colne Marine and Yacht Company. Its thick brick walls and quiet and pretty disposition, defy its former role as a working yard where timber yachts were crafted and repaired, drawn up inside at high tide. Emma and Charlie welcome guests back time after time to relax and enjoy this very special place. We hope you will join them.
