I will provide a personal tour of four San Antonio Missions. We will meet at the San Jose Mission parking lot. Our tour begins at Mission Concepcion, we then head South to Mission San Jose, the Queen of the Missions. From there, we'll drive South along the San Antonio River and visit Mission San Juan and Mission Espada. Transportation will be via my newly restored 1967 VW Bug. These are four of the five Missions, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll do a drive by the historic Stinson Airport, SA first Airport, established in 1915. Our drive will take us along several Public Arts site, Like the beautiful Tree of Life, and others along the the River. We'll end the tour at one of the many parks near the Missions for a short picnic. We have close ties to the National Park, and more importantly to the descendant families who still live near our Missions.
