The San Marcos Jailer’s House is on the rustic side and small in size, approximately 800 square feet in total. The 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom house is located one block from the San Marcos Square. The bedroom has 1 Queen Bed and the back room has an additional Full Bed. The house dates back to the founding of San Marcos, the late 1800’s, and was originally built for the Jailer to reside next to the historic San Marcos Jail.
