Cocktail recreation through four neighborhoods of Denver
Come with me as we explore, through appetizers & drinks, four amazing & well known neighborhoods of the Mile High City. After sampling & analyzing, join me at the Sky Lounge in yet another famous neighborhood of Denver. It'll be time to recreate these tasty cocktails. To start, we head to Capitol Hill, where Angelo’s Taverna awaits in the Olive Garden. No actual garden on site, that’s just the name of our first featured drink;). Woody Creek Vodka, house-made dirty mix, garnished with bleu cheese, salami, cini peppers & stuffed olives, this is the drink to whet your appetite. Known for their play & creativity with oyster’s & seafood, no wonder they keep winning top votes for Best Restaurant in Denver. Moving Uptown, we'll visit D-Bar, where the D stands for drinks, dining, and desserts! Opened & operated by Food Network Star, Keegan Gerhard, I'm sure you'll find something delectable to pair with your D Margarita. Flavor options include pomegranate, pineapple, passion fruit, strawberry, or spicy jalapeño. At last in Lower Downtown (LoDo), we'll keep it classic with gin & tonic. Citrus rosé gin at Deviation Distilling couldn't be a more perfect twist. Thanks to our amazing driver(s), we end in Five Points, ready to try our hand at the cocktails of the evening. Connect with Nature in Colorado
I will take you out into the mountains to experience and connect with Colorado on a gorgeous hiking trail! We will usually hike a moderate trail located within 1 hour of our morning meeting spot. This adventure is for all level hikers. Most hikes are a bit challenging, but we will go slow and the views make the adventure well worth it! Our focus will be on immersing ourselves in the vibrancy of nature, so we will take our time and admire the beauty around us! We will walk the trail and experience trees, rocks, snow, and mountain vistas from a new perspective! We can take breaks to admire wildlife and the large and small interconnected communities all around us! In the winter, we will traverse a beautiful snow covered trail up to a scenic view. Microspikes are available if there is any concern about walking in snow or ice. At the top of our trail we will take a relaxing lunch break where you can reflect, hang out, and explore! I will take tons of high quality pictures throughout the experience and send them to you in a google drive folder after your hike. Because of the varying terrain and high altitude in Colorado, the hike may be more challenging depending on your fitness level. I am here to make this a pleasant and memorable day for everyone, so don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or reservations!
