The space
The Getaway RV is a Fleetwood Terry 5th Wheel that has been updated to reflect modern style. All of the traditional RV decor has been replaced with wth fresh white walls and cabinets and beautiful new flooring. The slide out has a hand stenciled design painted on the walls and the bathroom and bedroom accented with wallpaper. The modern comfortable couch doubles as a quality sofa bed. The master bedroom hosts a "take one/leave one" library for you to enjoy during your stay and we also provide soft fluffy beach towels for guests to use at our favourite beach!

Outside the comfortable mini-home is an 20 foot deck with an awning and a privacy wall. This cozy private space has a bistro table/chairs, comfortable seating and a picnic table. There is a large outdoor shower to feel refreshed after a hard day at play. The outdoor shower offers an endless supply of hot water on demand, there is nothing as beautiful as a hot shower outdoors in any weather!

The forest surrounding the property is a wonderful place for children to explore. There is also a hammock nestled in the woods for relaxing or reading.

In the absence of city lights, the stars really are the icing on the cake in this little piece of heaven. The large Adirondack chairs around the firepit are the perfect place for relaxing and star gazing before a peaceful night's sleep.

Guest access
The property is self-contained and totally private. It is located on it's own campsite surrounded by trees. It has a large driveway for 2 vehicles and plenty of outdoor space.

Other things to note
I would encourage guests to watch the tidal forecast. Low tide is a favourite as the beach is much bigger at low tide and the river is warmer. Water safety is also an important consideration at Salmon Cove Beach. Any type of floaties or water craft should be restricted to the river (if used at all) as the current can carry a floatie into the bay very quickly.
