Gamekeeper Lodge is a characterful, modern and luxurious self catering cottage; and forms a totally private annexe to our Grade 2 listed thatched cottage in the heart of Rutland. The property was designed in 1795 by John Nash, who also designed Buckingham Palace and overlooks the original thatched game larder. Situated only 2 miles from Rutland Water.

Modern light airy house in quiet cul de sac within easy walking distance (15 mins) of Oakham town centre where there are plenty of pubs and cafes. I have 2 double bedrooms that I would like to share with guests. Digital TV and facilities for coffee & tea in each room. Private bathroom (shared between the 2 guest bedrooms) has both bath and shower. Additional toilet and wash basin downstairs. We really enjoy meeting our guests, and welcoming them as workers or tourists from the UK or abroad.
