Family friendly hiking area with only 2.5 km slack ascent to the nearest mountain top - with a great view. Short way to Valdres Alpinsenter (about 20 minutes) and Storefjell Alpinsenter (about 25 minutes). It is about 55 minutes to Hemsedal Alpine Centre. The beer lake is located at the bottom of the valley (five minutes), with opportunities for fishing and canoe rentals. Nice cycling opportunities.
