This ancient private house is a blue house built in 1804, a gorgeous era of "blue" culture.
The main house and bedroom (a barn that sleeps blue) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic guest rooms and gardens have been preserved and used as farmhouses and guest houses so as to avoid the slightest bit of the time.
Blue, the source of the Tokyo Olympic emblem Japan Blue, grew up in the fertile lands of the lower Yoshino River, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Clan).
We also have some ancient documents on blue cultural properties, so you can view them. Enjoy a soothing and nostalgic moment and the charm of Japan Blue.
