Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home in Västerkälen outside Krokom. The house is out in the countryside with no neighbors, except for the residential building. Close to the mountain world, fishing and berry picking. About 1 hour with a car to the magic mountain world summer as winter, about 25 minutes with a car to central Östersund with a great range of restaurants and other activities. Bicycles and wood-fired sauna and boat are available to borrow for a fee. Animals are allowed, but not a cat.

Our log house is situated right on a lake shore near the village of Ytterån. From here it is 35 km to the pretty centre of Östersund and 65 km to the fjäll and the skiing destination Åre. The cabin lies at the edge of a little farm where we live with our kids, three sled dogs, two cats and chickens. Your accommodation is a very warm, bright and inviting modern log house. The 85m2 offer large panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Detta fantastiska hus är byggt med mycket kärlek under 2018 Huset är inrett i rustik stil med en kombination av nordiska lätta färger och mycket trä. Den timmrade husdelen är återbruk av en byggnad från gården i Ocke där vi bor. Jordvärme, äggoljetempera färg samt golvbehandling med linoljevax är några goda miljöval.
