Contemporary Style Beachfront House With a Hot Tub

Open the bifold doors and admire the stunning view of the beach and coastline, while dining at a table for 12. Ceilings are high, skylights fill the rooms with light, and there are generously proportioned rooms throughout, all decorated in a modern contemporary style. Follow the private path to the beach, and after your surf, warm up in the Hot Tub or use the warm outside shower. Find space to hang wet surf wear outside or inside in the dedicated wet suite draining room. If your party needs some extra space, The recent addition of a garden room is a great bonus. This serves as a games and TV room and is equipped with a full size table football, smart TV, sofa, heater, Wi-fi and cloakroom. The top floor comprises a large light-filled open plan space with kitchen , dining room and sitting room, wood burning stove and 55” wall mounted smart TV and a DVD player. The dining area leads out through bifold doors onto a large glass-framed balcony, which is perfect for enjoying an evening cocktail or watching the sun set. There is underfloor heating on all 3 floors, powered by an eco-friendly ‘air source heat pump’. The MHVR system supplies fresh air throughout the building and it also provides dehumidification. The bedrooms There are 2 master bedrooms with superking-size beds, en-suite shower rooms, basin and WC ( the one on the top floor also has a bidet and wet room floor). Both bedrooms have large feature windows with fantastic sea views. The 3rd bedroom has a king-size bed and also has an impressive sea views. The 4th bedroom can be made up as either 2 single beds or a ‘zipped’ super king bed and the 5th bedroom features a whole wall surf photo mural and 4 single beds ( adult/child) 2 of these comprise a superb built in bunk bed with access stairs. There is also a single bed with ‘pull-out’ bed beneath. All bedrooms have top quality mattresses and built -in wardrobes. There is also a large family bathroom with bath, shower, WC and 2 sinks, plus 2 extra showers ( one in the wet room and one outside) and a cloakroom in the entrance porch. The kitchen The kitchen has a double oven, warming drawer, microwave and induction hob. There is a Quooker hot tap , wine fridge, dishwasher and bean to cup coffee machine. The large american fridge freezer also provides chilled filtered water and an ice maker. The basement includes a storage area with surfboard rack and a utility wet room with a shower and wetsuit draining area. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board . Outside Trethowan is surrounded by half an acre of garden, mostly set to lawn. A 1 minute walk down a private path takes you through the sand hills and onto the beach. Behind the house there is one of 2 slate -paved terraces and an impressive landscaped courtyard, which is very sheltered and private and is a real sun trap. It includes a small lawned area , ideal for young children and outdoor seating , both fixed and moveable , so that guests can gather around the gas fire pit. There is also a large gas BBQ, with 2 free gas cylinders. After walking back from your swim/surf, take a warm shower outside before entering the house via the back door ( there is a 2nd lock safe here so you don't have to take a key with you) Or enjoy the 7-8 seater Hot Tub, complete with jets , fountains and a bluetooth sound system. The lawns are kept manicured by a robot mower, which runs automatically , but this normally happens when guests are not staying. Guests can access all of the property A simple coded key-safe enables guests to self check-in. However the host is available to contact for any questions or queries and a local manmagment team is available for local help and emergencies. Treyarnon is one of the 7 Bays between Trevone and Porthcothan, and all are walking distance from the house. The area is famous for unspoilt scenery and surf beaches. The picturesque harbour town of Padstow is 4 miles away, with many good shops and restaurants. Trethowan has ample private parking , with room for up to 5 cars. Directions will be provided after booking and there is a good train service to Newquay/Bodmin/Truro and an airport at Newquay, with flights from a number of UK airports.
